Selling Coral
Do you need permits or any kind of paperwork to sell coral out of your house? I made a little coral farm with a little 14 gallon bio cube I had sitting in the garage. The prices here in South Carolina are ridiculous. I can order frags online and sell them for $10 more than that I paid for them and still be cheaper than the LFS here. I already had 1 guy wanting to buy stuff from me. I can advertise on craigslist. If this works out, maybe we can work somethng out Gerwin hahaha

Just keep it small and ask for forgiveness. You'll be ok.brianjoy81 wrote:Do you need permits or any kind of paperwork to sell coral out of your house? Re: Selling Coral
I'm not sure what the amount is, but the IRS allows for an amount of unreported cash transactions per year. That's why normal people can sell on Ebay and Craigs List without having to pay taxes etc. If kept relatively small and low key there should be no problems even if sold via the internet. Again, I don't know the amount, but you can sell over the internet just fine.
