Dosing your tank? How much?
I have a 90g mixed reef which has become more dominated by SPS in the last 6 months. Basically Duncan's, lobos, Scoly's, and zoanthids. Everything else is Acros, Monti's and various other SPS colonies. I am now dosing 114ml/day of Kh and 86ml/day of Ca. It occurred to me how high that is compared to a year ago (more than double). Question is, what is your demand, generally what do you keep, and what size is your tank?

Have you considered a calcium reactor? I barely have any SPS in the 120 but plan on adding more once my 225 is running. After doing a lot of research I picked up a GEO 612 from a reefer getting out of the hobby. Supposed to eventually be cheaper than dosing and much easier. Currently I'm just adding Kalk to my ATO water and have great results.

Nah in the short term getting a controller to monitor ph and the reactor/co2 will just be too expensive. I spend about $20/month which is reasonable. Now, if I had a larger aquarium (maybe like 180 or larger) I absolutely would dive in and spend the cash. At some point I might add in Kalk to supplement and lower the cost of 2 part if it gets out of hand. I assume it won't get much more demanding.
